The top of the report is really straight forward. Our sample is taken from a ShotScan® Raw BB Counts Report. The remaining lines tell about the tester, the gun, the load shot and the distance between the tester and the target. This information is all taken from the "ShotScan® Pattern Test Specifications" sheets filled out by the pattern tester. (More in Sales.)
The first line describes the shooter. The next two lines describe the gun and the barrel used for the test. For the example, B.H. of Gilroy used a 20 ga. Benelli for the tests. We give back the information B.H. sent us. If the barrel has been modified by lengthening the forcing cone, back boring, custom chokes, etc. that information will show up on the fourth line. B.H. had a Rhino choke tube screwed into his barrel. The fifth line describes the ammunition. For the sample, Winchester made the 20 ga., 2 1/2 dr.eq. (dram equivalent), 7/8 ounce load of number 8 shot shells used in the test. For this target the count of 361 BBs was computed based on the weight of the charge and the size of the BBs. The last line at the top gives the target number, some dates and the distance from which the shot was taken. Our sample target 496040400458 was shot at 30 yards.
This information applies to all the single target reports. For a single kit with 6 targets processed, that would be 18 of the 20 reports prepared. For a double kit with 12 targets processed, that would be 36 of the 44 or more reports created.
The next level in our site shows the three kinds of single target reports we prepare. Under each of those are two levels of description of the reports. The pictures are each near 20 K bytes. The brief descriptions are each about 10 K bytes and the detailed descriptions are about 20 K bytes of text. The choice is yours.
