ShotScan Comparison Reports

ShotScan® Comparison Reports show the results from 6 different shots side by side.  For single kits, where 6 targets are processed, the comparison reports show all the targets shot.  For double kits, where 12 targets are processed, several groups of 6 targets will be reported together so the variable factors can be isolated to give more meaningful comparisons for the larger group.

Comparison reports have a common style which is tailored specifically to handling multiple targets.  The top of each report tells those things about the gun, the ammo and the distance from the target for all factors which were the same for all your shots.  If you changed only the yardage for your tests, then almost everything from the top of the prior reports will be shown here, in a slightly different format.  Only the yardage and target numbers would be printed inside the picture frame below the picture.  If you made lots of changes between shots, then very little information will be printed above the picture, most would be included inside the picture frame.  The two sample reports we show below illustrate this variability in format.

We produce reports based on Percentages, using the data describing the circles, and on Densities, using data describing the sliding rings.  The bottom of each report lists the exact data used to plot the curves.  This data is taken from the appropriate single target report.  From each sample report you have access to brief and detailed descriptions, as you had with the single target reports.  Read none, a little or a lot.  Again, you pick.
